“We have been using Fast Trac Excavating for over 15 years now and are extremely happy with their service ! The operators are very courteous, experienced and careful. They really take pride in their work which is hard to find these days and are team players. We will continue to use them.”

“As a homeowner and business owner over the past 22 years, I’ve had work done by Fast Trac on various projects, including excavation, concrete breaking, site services, oil tank removal, drainage, foundation, framing, grading and landscaping. I’ve recommended Fast Trac to friends and neighbors and only had positive experiences with them as they bring solid knowledge and high quality workmanship to the project. I plan to continue contracting with Fast Trac as the need arises.”
“Fast Trac has done several projects for us since we built our house in 2002. After receiving all of the bids for our site work (excavation, demolition, foundation and driveway) we contacted Fast Trac because they are a local business with an A+ BBB rating and were very helpful and informative. They kept to the price, always show up when they say they are going to, have experienced personnel and very conscientious in their work. They always answer their phones giving us guidance each time, which is very helpful. We would definitely hire Fast Trac again.”
“For over 22 years I have been affiliated with Fast Trac in an independent engineering and land surveying capacity. Their work has always been above average and consistent in regards to methods of construction and attention to detail. On the more complex projects, my time spent inspecting and checking their work for construction compliance with plans and specifications is less than most all excavating contractors because Fast Trac holds and maintains a high quality of workmanship.”

“I needed a cherry tree stump removed and a bit of drainage put in my front yard. I decided to call in Fast Trac Bobcat and Excavating to do the job. Someone came by to get an idea of the scope of work and I was given a quote. Work was started about a week or two later. The stump and surrounding large roots were completely removed (not just ground down), and the drainage was put in. Two issues arose during the digging for the drainage, an irrigation system leak that was difficult to shut off and a water main across the drainage path required some manual digging, both of which delayed completion of the job, but the job was still completed within the time frame given, and the debris was completely removed to our satisfaction and all at slightly below quote. Fast Trac did a good job and I am quite pleased with the results.”
“We recently had our large in ground pool demolished. From the quote to the completed project FAST TRAC was there when we needed them. The operator and truck driver were polite and professional and ensured that our neighborhood was as undisturbed as possible when performing the heavy work. Our new back yard looks great- Thanks FAST TRAC!”
Drain and Weeping Tile Excavation
Water in the basement? Dealing with dampness or mold and mildew?
Blocked or broken drain tile is the number one cause for exterior water leaks in foundations.
There is always water underground, especially for those of us here in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland! The purpose of drain tile (also called weeping tile) is to manage this water and move it away from your home’s foundation, usually directing it to municipal storm sewers. When there is a blockage or break in the tile, the water isn’t directed away from your foundation and instead the water finds its way through the concrete and into your home.
Pre 1970’s Home?
If your home was built prior to plastics being typically used in residential construction, it is likely your drain tile was constructed from clay pipe. These pipes are easily broken and are prone to clogging as well. For homeowners with clay drain tiles, the best long term solution for leaking foundations is to excavate the old, damaged drain tile and replace it with perforated plastic drain tile bedded and surrounded by properly graded fresh gravel.
